iQR is operated by INFODOER Technology. We built it to collect as little as possible.

QR codes you create

QR codes are generated in your browser. The content you type (links, WiFi passwords, contact details, UPI IDs) is not sent to our servers unless you choose to save a QR code to your account.

Accounts

If you create an account we store your name, email address, a securely hashed password, and the QR codes and logos you save. You can delete saved items at any time. To delete your account, email us from your registered address.

Dynamic QR codes

When someone scans a dynamic QR code we record the date and whether the device was a phone or a computer, so the owner can see scan counts. We do not store IP addresses or personal information of people who scan.

Cookies and analytics

We use one essential session cookie to keep you signed in and protect forms. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages and features are used (for example, how many QR codes are downloaded). Analytics data is aggregated, advertising features are switched off, and we never send the content of your QR codes to Google. Your theme preference and any codes saved in “device mode” are kept in your own browser storage.

Third-party services

If you choose “Continue with Google”, Google shares your name, email address and Google account ID with iQR so we can create or sign in to your account; we never see your Google password. Usage statistics are processed by Google Analytics. Fonts are served by Google Fonts and open-source libraries by jsDelivr and cdnjs, which receive standard web request data such as your IP address.
