How Logo QR codes stay scannable

Every QR module is split into a 3×3 grid. The centre of each module carries the data at full contrast, while the surrounding dots take their colour from your logo. The three corner eyes, timing lines and alignment marks are drawn solid, and error correction is fixed at High (30%) so your artwork can take up most of the code.

Tips for the best result

  • Use a bold logo with strong colours on a white or light background.
  • Use “Fit whole logo” for wordmarks and “Fill the code” for photos or round emblems.
  • If the scan test warns you, raise the scan dot size a little.
  • Print at least 3 × 3 cm and test with two different phones.

Only upload logos you own or have permission to use.

Frequently asked questions

Will a Logo QR code scan on every phone?

Yes, when the scan test passes. Logo QR codes use the highest error correction level and keep the data dots at full contrast. Always test with your own phone before printing.

Is iQR really free?

Yes. Creating, customising and downloading QR codes is free, with no watermark and no limit on downloads. A free account adds saving, logo library and dynamic QR codes.

Do the QR codes expire?

Static QR codes never expire — the information is stored inside the code itself, so it keeps working forever. Dynamic codes keep working while your iQR account exists.

Can I add my logo to a QR code?

Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG, SVG or WEBP logo in the Logo section. iQR clears the dots behind it and switches error correction to H so the code stays readable.

Which format should I download for printing?

Use SVG or PDF for print — they are vector files that stay sharp at any size. For websites and social media, PNG or WEBP is best.

How big should a printed QR code be?

A good rule is at least 2 × 2 cm, and about one tenth of the scanning distance. A code scanned from 1 metre away should be around 10 cm wide.

Is my data private?

QR codes are generated in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded unless you choose to save it to your account.

Can I use the QR codes commercially?

Yes. QR codes made with iQR can be used on packaging, menus, flyers, business cards, invoices and ads without attribution.

What is a dynamic QR code?

A dynamic QR code points to a short iQR link that redirects to your destination. You can change the destination after printing and see how many times it was scanned.
