Free UPI QR code for shops, freelancers and invoices

iQR creates a standard upi://pay QR code that opens Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM, Amazon Pay and every other UPI app. Payments go straight from your customer’s bank to yours — iQR never touches the money and charges no fee.

How to make a UPI payment QR code

  1. Enter your UPI ID (VPA), for example yourshop@okicici.
  2. Add the payee name customers should see.
  3. Leave the amount empty for a counter QR, or set it for a single invoice.
  4. Add your shop logo and a “Scan to pay” frame, then download and print.

Tips

  • Make a ₹1 test payment from another phone before printing.
  • Use a fixed amount only for one-time bills — a counter QR should leave it blank.
  • Print at least 4 × 4 cm for counters and add your shop name in the frame.

Frequently asked questions

Does iQR charge any fee on UPI payments?

No. The payment goes directly from the customer's UPI app to your bank account. iQR only creates the QR code.

Is a UPI QR code from iQR the same as my bank's QR?

It uses the same standard upi://pay format, so it works with every UPI app. Your bank or app may also give you a merchant QR with settlement features.

Does iQR charge any fee on UPI payments?

No. The payment goes directly from the customer's UPI app to your bank account. iQR only creates the QR code and never handles money.

Is iQR really free?

Yes. Creating, customising and downloading QR codes is free, with no watermark and no limit on downloads. A free account adds saving, logo library and dynamic QR codes.

Do the QR codes expire?

Static QR codes never expire — the information is stored inside the code itself, so it keeps working forever. Dynamic codes keep working while your iQR account exists.

Can I add my logo to a QR code?

Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG, SVG or WEBP logo in the Logo section. iQR clears the dots behind it and switches error correction to H so the code stays readable.

Which format should I download for printing?

Use SVG or PDF for print — they are vector files that stay sharp at any size. For websites and social media, PNG or WEBP is best.

How big should a printed QR code be?

A good rule is at least 2 × 2 cm, and about one tenth of the scanning distance. A code scanned from 1 metre away should be around 10 cm wide.

Is my data private?

QR codes are generated in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded unless you choose to save it to your account.

Can I use the QR codes commercially?

Yes. QR codes made with iQR can be used on packaging, menus, flyers, business cards, invoices and ads without attribution.

What is a dynamic QR code?

A dynamic QR code points to a short iQR link that redirects to your destination. You can change the destination after printing and see how many times it was scanned.
